Giving the nintendo girls a turn this time, with my favorite character we'll probably never see again canonically- Midna! I really fell in love with Midna over the course of Twilight Princess, and it was refreshing to her be the subtle romantic interest in the game. No spoilers for those who havn't played the game, but the ending made me very mad. I want more Midna!!!Related content

The ending made me kind of emo, too. It was fun having Link messed with. He's had bratty and surly sidekicks, but she's always making fun of him and it was a different dynamic.

It would probably ruin twilight princess' ending and trivialize her character if they brought her back, but Midna was one of those one-off characters that really deserves to be featured again sometime. I don't want her to be forgotten by the sands of time!!!
