The Lost Drift

The look of meat and soap bubbles
Dotted between
Lines like faults that are ready for
Expectations and fonts to fall
Aimless in forms that twist whatever
Is left straight right to
Eyes with vacancies but no rooms,
The effort to focus making it much too
Difficult to include a door or even a
Window except perhaps one that does
Not open.
No air, no breeze
Just a ghost wind blowing through.
No original shapes, merely
The shapes of shapes which
Do not push or pull
Do not state
Are tired but
Do not tire
Figmenting themselves to
Ignore other figments
The momentum long gone
