I like the homemade feel to the wings. They're very simple, and I'm glad, because this image isn't about "angels" but about a human couple holding hands and wearing paper wings and looking towards the glow over the horizon at the end of railroad tracks - and that - the clear and blatant humanity - I feel it; it has more personality and than a "photorealistic" photomanipulation/edit/whatever. Who cares if angels have wings; here's a couple and they say "We can do this." I like this.
The colors are nice and subdued. That's another reason why I'm adding this photo to my favorites. This photograph doesn't have the warm glow of afternoon but the dark browns and blacks and blues of late afternoon or night or early morning - or winter (thick evergreens and naked branches, must be fall or winter) - so that, logically, means that what follows is day - or spring. I like the story I see here.
The watermark is distracting but in this era of art theft is a necessary evil.

Haha. I know. I saw a comment that seemed to mock the wings. Not sure if that was the commenter's intention (casual words strung together in short sentences are difficult to understand if we don't see body language and hear vocal inflections), but that's what the commenter's text seemed to imply.
