Shakey's doesn't exist where I live, and for the longest time, I wasn't aware it was an actual pizza chain. Ironic, since it was founded here in California. What's more...there are no Shakey's locations in Colorado. I learned not long ago that a retro-designed image studio down the street from where I live used to be a Shakey's Pizza in the 1970s before becoming a diner in the 1980s. The diner closed in 1999, when it was bought out by Pro Image Studios.Related content
