Can whispering words break throughThe sound of aggravated rain
Long enough for you to hear them?
Could it ever be possible for me
To cup my shaking hands
Over your bruised heart?
Is it a felony for my fondness of you
To wander into the barren lands of love
In hopes that you seek the same as I?
Or is it that the questions I ask
Are either too soft for you to hear
Or has the howling wind swept them away
Into nothing more then false hopes?
