I'm not against fanservice or sexy fanart, nor am I ashamed of what's in my favorites. But there is a time and place for that, and it isn't randomly placed in a Supersmash Bros because Samus is a girl therefore she needs to wear high heels. And this isn't because I'm against women wearing high heels in video games, after all one of my favorite characters is Bayonetta and I don't want her to lose her sexiness just like I don't want Samus to be forced into being sexy. Funny thing is, This IS actually closer to how she's s supposed to look! In her earliest conceptions and bio, she was always described as being a rather tall and muscular woman, It was only recently that she was re-imagined into the video game sex symbol she is now!

Thanks. That's what I was striving for. Beauty is part of what makes the character who she is. Some people think that aspect should be diminished. But I think what you said is simply a practical matter.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. People seem to want her to be an unrelatable ice queen, but I don't see how anyone could make it through all the things she has if they weren't driven by an amazingly strong heart that would never break, and her design should reflect that. She is a human, she is benevolent. In Metroid Prime 2... she essentially helped the Luminoth because U-mos asked her nicely. She didn't ask for a reward or even a thank you. She didn't need these guys to repair her ship or anything, since it was already fixing itself. She helped them just... because. She's amazing that way.
