I am really enjoying this colouring style you've got going on for these pages. The minotaur looks absolutely terrifying and grotesque, exactly as he should be, given he is the product of Hamilcar's inner representation of himself.
Oh, Hamilcar! I love this interplay between self-loathing and self-awareness. Hamilcar is so fucked up and I love him for it. And Ian! I wonder what he'd think if he ever got a chance to bounce around inside Hamilcar's head! It's tragic and like a fuse lit under dynamite, and I am so looking forward to the fireworks.
These two are such interesting characters. I'd dare to say they are the most interesting pair of all of our AUs, despite not being part of grandiose plots or possessing an extremely elaborate past. Because they are the most realistic -- conflicted and striving to be good and failing here and again to respect themselves and do their duties well. They procrastinate and fumble and suck at communication, and have no idea what they want or do not want out of life. Faking being well to save the other. And yet, they both play this damning part in each other's misery. They're like asteriods, gravitating towards each other, elliptical, closer on this cycle and then farther the next, but ultimately destined to a rather explosive, if silent, collision. Will they merge and drift the lonely space together, or shoot off as dust in opposite directions?
I feel like I've made this metaphor before but MAN, I can't help but wax poetic when you keep producing such amazing, jaw-dropping beauty. You breathe life and honesty into Hamilcar and his conflicts, and I adore it.

Oh I am so, so happy you like it, baby *v* I'm terrible at writing but I've tried to let Hamilcar's inner thoughts and intoxicated imagination give away what he won't tell ;7; I'm glad it worked out okay! Now I do wonder what's on Ian's mind here - how he feels in this scene, and, well, if I pictured him right here according to his state of mind

Dans le cas d'Hamilcar, c'est tout à fait de la lâcheté (vu qu'il se refuse à parler franchement à Ian), et de la peur (il ne veut pas devenir le "monstre" qu'on voit sur cette page). Mais cet état de stagnation et de silence est clairement en train de lui pourrir la vie et la santé mentale, alors que la solution pourrait être simple.
Il a vraiment plein de défauts, ce pauvre homme xDD;;; Enfin ça lui servira sans doute de leçon, disons.

toutes les expériences font grandir, mais c'est vrai que c'est dur de "dire" par moments! En plus si Hamilcar devait en parler, ça lui ferait entendre ce qu'il ne veut pas, il n'a pas de recul mais c'est normal. Ca ne le rend que plus humain et adorable je trouve ^^
C'est ça un héros, il a beau avoir des pouvoirs, il n'en est pas moins doté de sentiments ou sinon ça ne serait rien de plus qu'une arme.
