Amazing! I've been wanted to incorporate a different type of eye in my sculptures, but I just don't know where to begin.

Thanks ^_^ With most of my eyes I have a wire back on them, poke the wire into the wool & come out somewhere else & make a little hook so it stays in the wool, & then cover that hook with more wool ^_^ it works really well. I also add a little glue sometimes to make sure they are super secure

That sounds complicated to me! I've used the tiny glass eyes with the wire on the back, but I always have cut it short and did the glue thing. I get really nervous with the glue as I don't want it showing on my work. I have also made small fimo eyes for birds with no wire.

Best glue I've found is Aleene's Original Tacky Glue. It dries clear & somewhat flexible. I've also used eyes with a lope in the back & using strong thread sewn them into place ^_^

Aww! A hug! xD
Yeah, for some reason not many people remember the worm, but he's my favorite character!

This is really the most amazing recreation of the worm that I have run across. Eons better than the current plush made by Toy Vault. I really hope that you are inspired to make more someday because he looks incredibly awesome! How about some other creatures from Labyrinth? Hoggle or Sir Didymus? I bet you could make a super fantastic Falkor from Neverending Story!

aww thanks so much! I really appreciate your comment! That makes me feel great
Yeah after I finish up a few more Fire Gangs I do plan to make Sir Didymus ^_^ I have been working on the pattern for him for some time. He'll be a little bit of all my technique, needle felting, soft sculpture & clay sculpture ^_^

Hey, I wanted to check on your progress with Sir Didymus. Also, what material did you use for the worm's hair? I bought a little resin one and my sister painted it for me, but he needs hair. I may buy some faux fur that I found on etsy, but was hoping to hear what you recommend.

I haven't even had a chance to work on a Sir Didymus & the way orders are going unless someone orders one I doubt I'll get around to making him any time soon.
As for the worms hair it's wool ^_^

I know he's based on a movie character, but I am in awe of how close he is to the original! He's awesome!

Thanks these guys are normally $80 + shipping just a little more than my normal 5" plushie because of the jointed neck and amount of work on this guy.
