I heard it wasn't as deep as Avatar the Last Airbender so I'm a little reluctant to. XD Not only that, but I also have a lot of other shows on my to-watch list.. such as adventure time and gravity falls among others. ;u; Where do you watch it??

Well I'm just gonna say it's basically 10/10 for me right now. It stands at 67 episodes at the moment for 11 minutes each so you can catch up pretty quickly. Literally a day if you don't have any other plans
I'm watching everything either from KissCartoon orΒ KissAnime right now. It does the job very well with the only drawback being you have to disable adblock before it lets you watch anything.

Yup! Got a friend into the other week and she took like, 2 or 3 days to catch up ^^
Haha, funny thing was I began watching it while I worked at uni like I was doing with a couple of other shows, so I wasn't even paying it my full attention, but it didn't take too long for it to become very distracting because I was so into it. So like many shows it may not appear ground breaking on first glance.
Probably the clincher is the characters, I think you get a bunch more depth and back story than you might find from other cartoons. Characters I had little to no opinions on grew on me something fierce. They're written really well and feel that much more 'real' thanks to it.
While it's not something that people usually look for, SU has probably some of the most beautiful backgrounds you might find in animation. I know partly because many students at my uni based their background inspirations on SU and Gravity Falls for their film pitch ^^
A tiny extra for me is that this is the only show I've sought out online and rewatched an episode XD I've watched a particular one 4 or 5 times cuz it's just too good :3
