Nicholas is a sweet child with a heart of gold, he's such an adorable little dork omg.

and suprise suprise! Hes straight! Aayyy
I dunno, but I find it kinda adorable for a straight son of homo mama's to be worrying about falling in love with a girl, when in reality his mom's are just like,"yes, straight children"
I dunno, I find it cute to see him getting frantic about bringing his first girlfriend over
((Ya know, since girls are judgmental but his mom's are different and he's waiting for their opinion Yada yada))

OKAY NOW TO THE GOOD PART.
you may be wondering,"hey, why does his name have Catterman in it?" Or "HMM, THAT RED HAIR LOOKS AWFULLY FAMILIAR"

WELL GUYS, LET'S GET INTO THIS BACK STORY SHALL WE?

nicholas, actually, is the youngest of the whole catterman family, casey's mother (whom you may or may not know died from a car crash) was actually 8 months pregnant at the time with their original father. After he left of course. But as she came back from work (because she's stubborn and insists on working instead of going on faternal) she got it the car crash with the baby, nicholas, still in her stomach. Suprisingly however, he was still alive, barely. Which explains the burn marks on his skin.
Now, since he was a premature baby and was born in the ambulance, he was not suited to go into any home, leaving him in the hospital and taking a couple years to actually build himself.
Which leads to the next concept, when nick was ready to leave the hospital, the three known catterman's as of now (casey, shawn, and Rose) had already ran away, proving that their uncle was unsuited for the care of a baby toddler.

Nicholas was then taken to an orphanage, he was shy and isolated from the other kids, mostly from his fear of being made fun of for his marks. He doesn't know the reason of them, in fact, he thinks of them as nothing as birth marks.
At age 8 he was adopted from Janice and ranae when the two lovely ladies came to denver, Colorado for a trip and found the adorable little guy playing in the park alone at age 7, coming back a year later to adopt him.

Now on that note, casey, shawn and Rose have no clue of their alive brother. In fact, they figured he was already dead with their mother, so they tried not to think of anything of it And tried to block out the fact that their potential sibling was dead.

Which leads to the next obstacle of them ever meeting, Janice and ranae live in new york, giving nicholas the chance to leave Colorado and move with his new homo mama's
