Description
Mist, A281 , and A286 to the leftWord count: 511
Was she really doing this?
Phantom in the Mist snorted and halted at a patch of sand, the young filly she ‘had claimed’ halted beside her. Was she really going through with this? A nicker came from the blue roan mare as she approached Mist and the filly, Mist touched noses with the mare, approving of her company.
Mist searched around, scanning the area. Somehow in the rush were her human scared her new friends she kept up with the young filly, but in the meantime she left behind her human, and in her opinion that was not a good thing. Was she ready for a life in the wild? Giving up everything just for this young filly? Her life of luxury and company? Her herd? No she was not. But she wasn’t leaving this filly behind either, if she managed to pull this off she would gain both the filly as her own and the respect of her rider again, she knew her human would forgive her, she knew her human knew she could never abandon a foal. She would never harm her rider, she knew the area was save before she left. If her human hadn’t scared the blue roan mare Mist wouldn’t have to run around to calm down the foal, she had to earn the trust of the filly, only then she could take the filly back to her human.
And if the filly would not trust her, she would force the filly. She could be a harsh mom if she wanted to, all the young ones should respect her, or feel the consequences.
Did this really just happen?Lynn kicked a pinecone across the grass. Her most trusted and beloved mare had ditched her for a young mare, a foal. She cursed herself, she shouldn’t have been so careless, Phantom in the Mist was a horse after all, a mare, a mare with strong motherly feelings. And now she was wandering somewhere in the wild lands, she should have left her halter on, if she only left the halter on. All the Firefly halters had built in trackers for cases like this, but no, I didn’t think I’d need one, Mist was always well behaved after all.
All my neck hairs began to stand up on end, what if Mist got claimed by a wild stallion? Or what if she got captured by other people hunting for wild horses? She knew Mist would not just approach anyone unless she was in danger or hurt, and she would protect that foal whatever the cost, others might think of her as a wild mare protecting her daughter. Mist would probably be recognised by the people of the registry though, I sighed.
I stopped walking as I hear the sound of hooves getting closer, I could hear the irons under the hooves. “Mist?” my voice chocked. I heard a soft snort, it wasn’t Mist. “Monsun? I’m here”.
The bay stepped out of the bushes, I eyeballed my sister for a moment, before looking down at the ground in embarrassment.

Thank you
Its actually pretty simple, my friend explained it to me after he gifted his mare to me, you just draw dark circles with the same pencil as the base coat
