I couldn't think of a creative title. (´∀｀；)Pretty happy with this one. It only took 7 years for me to draw a proper couple piece of Catherine and NecoJi. Frankly it's a crime there isn't any art of them together. ♡＾▽＾♡
I've been trying to improve my anatomy so it probably looks weird in some places. I'll keep practising. (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧
Edit: Fixed shading on Catherine's fur.

Definitely nice seeing something fancier again. The anatomy ought to come with time and practice (probably), so I wouldn't be too worried about that.
The contrast between the really cartoony style and really soft shading kind of reminds me of some of my own art, though. Looks really matte when you're not using highlights. Any particular reason you didn't shade Catherine's fur, though?

I even pulled out the dropper tool to see if there was any difference :u At least one part of Catherine had no shading at all.
...actually, I knew something was looking a little odd to me - do we actually know the relative heights of NecoJi and Catherine? Hadn't really considered the former being taller.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same height but I think NecoJi is taller than Catherine, hard to tell with Catherine bent over.

I'd say NecoJi's slightly taller, too. Males tend to be a bit taller on average, anyhow, so it's no surprise at all.
In any case, my next recommendation for playing around with new techniques (if you don't have some ideas already) would be including highlights along with your shadows. It made a big difference for me, and it lets you should the different reflectivities of different surfaces to give them different textures instead of them all looking really matte.
