Available as a print! Print shopI dedicate this image to ~Annie-sama who has been a friend for many years and is an avid bleach fan like me!
I noticed there wasnt very much third level Ichigo out there so I thought I'd paint his sexy mug. I havent done a fanart in a very long time!
I couldn't think of any better ideas for the background or the light source. In 'the lust' there isnt really any identifiable background to the fight scene either ...
I've tried out some things I wouldnt normally do - the hair is a tad more animated and the skin has texture.
I used a photo from my alternate account, ~RogueAttic , of my friend James for reference. You can see his pretty blue eyes Here

But if I'm honest I'm trying to come off fanart. I'm kind of against it more and more recently. I just dont agree with people getting attention and brownie points for painting someone elses character, or even selling that artwork for their own gain.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it after Gene Simmons' son's scandal, but I just find it quite unfair when it involves monetary compensation for someone elses creation...

If you use a reference, either directly, or for skin colours and face and body and movement dimensions, it helps a great deal when it comes to realism. You can just use your own body!

Oh I finished one yesterday and just saw this today lol. I didnt really bother properly on this one because its hard to do realism without tablet as ive said on the picturee

Hey, your colouring is really good!
The only advice I could give is to keep the shadows on his skin to the contours on his body. I like how you have made the red fur painted over the lines and it is well done - you could probably do animals like wolves very well. I used to do this kind of painting where the hair covered the lines and stood out. I really got into this semi-realistic style before I moved to complete realism
I urge you to credit Kubo Tite because it is his character, but also, have you traced a panel or screenshot? You could get in trouble if you take complete credit so get in the habit of crediting so your work doesnt get removed, hun

Oh yeah, I was going to do that but I forgot yesterday!!, It was like 5am in the morning when I finished this >< didnt noticce the time at all and I had like a massive headache

and yeah I agree, I was actually going to do that but as explained in the decription there isnt that much background detail in the lust because they are above hueco mundo in the sky so it wouldnt make much sense
