Description they're NOT FURRIES! I just wanted to start by saying that... I'm not a furry or part of the furry fandom, I draw ANTHRO characters. There's a difference people!

anyway, these are two of my characters; Spike (the wolf) and Sam (the golden retriver). They're from a graphic novel I'm working on.
This scene is just one of Sam's innocent little fantasies. You see, he's secretly in love with his best friend Spike but dares not tell him, because he's afraid of his own emotions and also afraid of how Spike might react (Spike tends to react violently to certain things).
It's a complicated story... and it's not just about Sam's crush. That's just a small part of it.

I was really nervous about submitting this picture. I've had it lying around for years and finally decided to color it yesterday. But I was nervous because of the slightly homosexual content, and I'm pretty sure some of you out there might react negative to it..
But I support homosexuality - or rather; I support love! So I don't really care much what you think. I just hope some of you tolerant people will like this picture somewhat..

That's all I had to say right now.

Oh, and please don't steal my characters..

Amen to that, everyone I know says that the anthropomorphic characters that I draw are furries,(For example, Zootopia characters). A few people at my school are rude and say that I'm a furry and that ALL my characters are furries. It's irritating. Also, amazing work! I love your art!!

Anthropomorphic/feral/cartoon = they all are Furry. EVEN Feral is a Furry (Pink Panther, The Lion King(bad example, I know, 'cause character's manners are too humanish), Tom And Jerry, that's all Furry. But yes, not all who draws them are Furry.
P.S. Just in case, ALF is a Furry, too.

I disagree. furry is a type of anthropomorphism, which actually means giving an non-human thing human traits, so therefore furries are ANTHRO, but anthro is NOT furryΒ

Got a problem with furries? Β They are characters, I get that, (I like the drawing), but why do people HATE us? Β We are people only who enjoy anthro animals, and make a living on the art. Β Furry fandom and anthro are the same, that's what furry is. Β It's not just guys in a suit.

Some people just don't like being called a furry. I myself am one of those people. I draw anthromorphic characters but I personally hate the word furry, to me, it sound very childish and I prefer to be called and anthromorphic artist instead of a furry. I have nothing against it, I just don't like the term.
