Director's Commentary: I think I just made my first BloomxFlora. Now that I think about it, I think I did it in FLM CH 7 as well but with BloomxStella when they were hugging goodbye. I did do a little blush during these scenes b/c who wouldn’t admire a certain quality when meeting others? Bloom blushed a little with Stella in FLM CH 7 due to admiring Stella’s confidence. Here, even though it’s a brief moment for Bloom meeting Flora for the 1st time, I feel like Flora’s character alone is as strong as Stella’s beaming confidence. Though yeah, I say this is the most ‘daring’ I’ve done so far with Flora here. This is understandable in the FLM universe, b/c for the other WC characters, they’re more ‘grown-up’ than Bloom due to whatever’s happening in Magix (note: hinted throughout the FLM chapters so far). Plus, in WC, it’s cute that Flora and Bloom always dorm with each other in Alfea even though officially their preferred BFFs in the Winx group is different: Bloom with Stella (understandable since Stella is the 1st Winx that Bloom met since S1 premiere); and Flora and Aisha. To draw Flora, her outfit reminds me of Disney’s Snow White’s outfit. The only ‘difficult’ part to draw is that I want to find a ‘difference’ between Flora’s and Bloom’s hairstyle.
