Another kind of Zaku. I think he's the Santoryu style type of mech. Who knows.Related content

Awesome, damn, I can't even draw a perfect Zaku like that. The closest I've gotten to a style of a samurai was probably my OC: Hybrid.

This is an awesome treatment of the Zaku. It would be amazing to see you do a more tactical mass production version of the the Kampfer. I've been wrestling with that for a while but am not satisfied with my talent for mechanical designs yet.Β

Good zaku, to bad that model couldn't pull it off due to low mobility.

Well, you just need a really good pilot to master it.

This one apparently being piloted by Roronoa Zoro. Does one of those attach to the mouth?

I hope it has a mouth though, so it's swordsman technique would be perfect.

Stumbling upon this tonight after just finishing assembly on a Gouf Custom is the perfect end to the night. Β I love how you've stayed true to the source Β while adding so many details of your own that match the aesthetic perfectly. Β There's nothing here that looks out of place or unnecessary. Β

Freakin' amazing!Β
2 questions, if I can.
1) what software did you use?
2) Which were the steps you took for drawing it?
Just asking out of curiosity for new ways to excercise myself.

It's mainly Photoshop. Well you need to see a lot of gundam design (or Zaku) and don't forget to draw it.

Ok, thanks.
By "steps" I meant literally what did you draw first in this particular picture and how, i.e. starting with a grey sketch of the entire volume, or by sketching the lineart with pen/brush/whatever. Essentially... what was the first thing you did on the blank file when you started this one?

NOMANSNODEAD In reply to FabrizioFioretti [2016-10-05 06:08:56 +0000 UTC]
Sorry, I was just joking with you.
But to be honest it actually started as the doodles or simple lineart (this one is fully digital) sketch (because I still not clear what mech I want to draw) but then I decided to give a little more treat like colors, shading, and stuff. In short, just draw cool stuff and follow your hand and your head, that's what I do.
