Have you seen the sci-fi version. Its called Alice and is incredable. It puts a modern spin on it (not animated).

Yup, for Tim Burton, and especially when everybody`s been waiting for it for so long- it sucks. But the music is beautiful, and both queens were amazing 
Try to see some bright sides
Let`s hope it`s Burton`s temporary lapse of talent and that he will eventually get better
