Description
Six long tones of the grandfather clock's bell echoed throughout the house, Nerios' ears twitching up as he returned to the conscious world. His eyes soon followed suit, the glowing green orbs fluttering awake each attempt to liven himself up. After a few snooze sessions the gradient pelted male dragged himself from his warm covered bed, giving his messy pelt a good shake before going on his way to begin the day.
Nerios began by quickly finishing his pampering, making his way into the kitchen to prepare a meal soon after. He took a peek into the kitchen cabinet, pulling out a bag of oatmeal ready to be boiled and served. Placing the bag onto a nearby counter, Nerios grabbed a pot, making his way down to the water reservoir to pour himself a small amount in the pot for boiling. He carried the watered filled pot to the grated stove, it already prepared with wood. With a flick of his fingers, he conjured fire on the wood, the flame quickly sustaining itself by the fuel.
In the meantime, Nerios decided the time taken to wait for his water to boil could be put towards his quest to master the basics of lightning magic.
Making his way into his study, the feathery male grabbed the magic book he'd rented from the library, looking to the left to grab his reading glasses as well. He took a quick look in the book's index, searching for his desired subject.
"Ah!" He exclaimed, finding the page number for lightning magic.
The smell of old books washed over his nostrils as he began to flip through the pages in a fan like manner, slowing to a halt as he found the accurate page number for it's respective chapter. He skimmed though quite a bit of the beginning, already having a general understanding of Generating electricity and creating static, not to mention working in magnetism. Nerios paused a bit as he remembered his little burst of energy when learning magnetism, his face tingling a bit as he fought off an embarrassed smile.
In his attempt to tame his mind, he stumbled upon an interesting section. 'Creating Balls of Lightning'.
Deep down he knew this would be a very dangerous form of magic to learn, yet Nerios eyed the diagram of the gro crouched over with bright curious eyes. He gazed at the worn pink dye used to emphasize the use of magical power needed to create such an unstable thing.
Adjusting his glasses, he'd begin to delve deeper into the research, taking mental notes he'd most certainly right down later.
He began to fall deeper and deeper into this hole of knowledge, quite fascinated with potential until-
Knock Knock Knock
Nerios reared his head up, a wide expression on his eyes. Who'd be at his house so early in the morning, he pondered. Folding a corner in the book, he'd close it, placing it back on his desk that sat not too far away from him.
He quickened his pace to the door, yawning as he neared the entrance to his home.
An anxious bubble began to brew in his belly, for he began to wonder who exactly would be in his place of home at this time of day. It wasn't like disliked the thought of company, however despite digging though he brain he couldn't recall ever scheduling such an entrance, let alone one this early.
He sucked it up though, twisting the knob to swing the door open. He looked out from the doorway, blinking for a moment before rearing back.
His jaw dropped as he began to realize who... and what he was looking at.
"Rosie..."

Well, well, well, would you look at this , eh
I'M SO GLAD I GOT IT DONE YOU DON"T EVEN UNDERSTAND I'VE BEEN WORKING DAY IN AND DAY OUT TO GET THIS DONE AHHH

It's a little bit messier cause not only did I make the canvas size too big, but the amount of layers I had to use on the timeline cause PS to lag, so I couldn't put as much detail into things as I wanted bUT AHH I LOVE HOW IT CAME OUT

ALSOOO this zesty plot can finally be put into action HECK YEAH
and maybe we could get a lil bit of romance goin' on too
