Description

A reference sheet for Dr. Hazel Addison, the foot-obsessed scientist that acts as the POV character in Fake Experiment, Real Foot Stuff and is mentioned on Page 3 of Zombyne's TKL File. I'm writing up a sequel to Fake Experiment and want to include art in it like I did with the first one, but since the sequel switches the focus from Eileen's feet to Hazel's, I needed to finally come up with a proper design for her. I tried for a simple design that reads as both "competent scientist" and "girlfail"; I have mixed feelings as to how well I accomplished that specifically, but I'm still happy with how she turned out.

Bio

A highly skilled but rather hapless dermatologist, Hazel Addison was born with tactile hyperesthesia (increased sensitivity to touch), and initially entered the field of dermatology in order to learn more about her condition. Her research of the biological mechanisms behind increased nerve sensitivity eventually attracted the attention of medical company Technical Knismetic Laboratories, who hired her to assist in product development.

With the assistance of both existing treatments and new treatments she developed at TKL, Hazel's hyperesthesia has become all but entirely managed, save for one sensation that has entirely eluded her attempts to dull it: tickling. Even casual tickling can feel like torture to her, so she goes to great lengths to avoid unnecessary physical contact, save for contact with one body part in particular: feet.

It's an open secret among anyone who knows her that Hazel has a foot fetish, mostly because she's very bad at hiding it; any mention of feet will get her flustered, and actually seeing them will get her face turning red as a beet. While certainly embarrassing for her, she has been able to make good use of this obsession by channeling it into her research, resulting in her knowing more about foot health than most podiatrists. She applies this knowledge to her own foot care routine, resulting in her feet being incredibly clean and unbelievably smooth 24/7 (which doesn't particularly help the tickling thing).

She's popular among her female coworkers both for her skincare advice and her ability to give unparalleled foot massages that induce relaxation and relieve pain; her technique is so effective, in fact, that an intense massage from her can even make someone without a foot fetish achieve climax. Her obsession with feet means she'll never decline when asked for a foot massage, and while she's aware that some people abuse this fact just to get off, she doesn't particularly mind as long as she gets to touch feet.
