Description
This image will forever be engrained in the iconography of my youth. My departed grandfather left behind his photos to remain vividly alive on the walls of my family's and my grandmother's home. It was a reminder of his kindness and warmth but also a reminder to me of his passing... one of my first vivid memories.This photograph was his favourite, the one he was most proud of. For ages it remained within the confines of my house but that is doing this work an injustice. It is my great honour to share this photograph with you.

This is beautiful. It reminds me of so much in MY youth, for there was a staircase not unlike this one, though smaller, in my Grandmothers house.
