I recently got back into watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (don't judge me, mkay? sometimes a girl gotta take a break from overwhelming political news), and guess who I ship.I was somewhat ashamed of myself at first, since it's a kids' show and all... But let me tell you, this is way more chaste than what pony shipping usually entails.
(And yup, Discord's earring is shaped like a cheesewheel, because he is basially the local Sheogorath).

Yaaaasss! This is one of the best human versions of Fluttercord yet. I think you're one of the few who got it pretty right with Discord, who I imagine must be difficult to design as human. Usually imo people make him too young and pretty or too old and a bit scary. The crazy design, body type, hair style, and skin tone look just right. Flutters looks gorgeous but I'd like to see more of her. (Or better yet, more of this humanized ship. :3)

I only ever watched the original series of My Little Ponies and still do as I still have them on VHS and have a VHS player. But wasn't ever too sure about watching the new series.Β
however I really love this. and while they are humans here it makes me want to give the new series a chance.Β
I will even admit I still have all my original my little pony toys from when I was a kid. as I never had the heart to get rid of them. a few first generations, second and some from Germany and England

Thank you very much! I was completely unfamiliar with the MLP franchise before discovering the new series, but I do like it. It has some episodes that focus too heavily on didactic stuff for kids (especially from the first seasons, as far as I can remember), but the art style is kinda cute and there are some moments that even I, An Old and Bitter Adult TM, find funny or touching. ^^

Well, I am all for adults watching cartoons, but MLP has a bit of an unsavoury reputation due to the high prevalence of oversexualized portrayals of its (really quite innocent) characters. People expressed disgust with me and suspicion that I have weird fetishes even when I just posted cutesy fan art of the show, years ago.

Well, most other fandoms I am into are more dark/adult-oriented, so when something creepy pops up, it's less jarring.
