Another plane drawing. I was in the air for 9 hours, I had to do something. 8I It's a little spoiler-ish, but I assume a lot of people (from the US or otherwise) have seen the third installment to Toy Story. I saw it...twice.
Oh Godddd this scene...hell, this movie was so bawwww it wasn't funny. ;3; Well, I take that back it was really funny in some parts, but you get what I mean. This was from that beginning scene where the toys steal Andy's cell phone to call him so he'd open up the old toybox again, for the first time in years. Woody has hold of it so when Andy finally picks up and Woody hears Andy's voice, he hugs it closer to him.
I don't think I got the look of the cell phone or the phone number right for that matter, but I really wanted to draw that scene. That was a total Crowning Moment of Heartwarming, srsly.

I watched this movie like lskeflvhzillion times, and this was so sad every time...

I was hoping that woody would at least say something to andy before the movie was over (that letter... not so much)
I felt that woody really wanted to say something when he had the phone and andy was asking for the caller.

Yeah, it really looked like Woody was about to say something at first, but refrained from doing so because of that "unwritten rule" about contact between people and toys. :<
I think it's a little sad that Andy would never quite know how much the toys ventured through to make him happy and stay together no matter what conflict arose, whether it was a toy collector or a psychopath neighborhood kid. Even through playing with them all those years, he should at least have a rough idea, you know?

yeah... it's really sad that there wasn't even a small acknowledgement- it would have been even more heart wrenching if Woody said something to Andy just before he was given to bonnie (kind of like in the first Cats and Dogs movie, where the kid didn't here his dog say anything until near the very end, but it was the only thing he said to him and the owner didn't see him speak.)

Thank you. ^^ I think Pixar did a wonderful job tying the trilogy together with this movie. It ended beautifully and it was pretty smart to release the film 11 years after the other two, so those that grew up with it could feel better connected to the toys. Only problem is...I still get funny and sentimental about giving/throwing toys away. XP

i know its totally unrealistic, but i thought it would have been amazing if woody spoke to andy. maybe not particularly in this scene, but i really wanted it in the final scene. It would probably just freak andy out, but since woody spoke to sid, i thought it would be ok..? idk, i just wished they could have talked once.

There are actually a lot of people that take a favorite toy or two to college.
I think Woody would like the feel of college life though. If Andy did take him to college, Woody would've been a hit with Andy's girlfriends, I bet, handsome ol' cowboy.

The phone looks fine to me. What is it that you didn't like out of curiousity? I think the character and pose are two very big strengths of this too. I like how the expression came out too.
