Story: After escaping the forces of Apokalips, a injured Mercury, messenger of the gods, landed on earth. University student, Jay Garrick found Mercury, this one warning Jay about the return of the forces of Darkseid, giving with his last breath his powers to young Garrick.
Jay gained the powers of the Greek God, getting the ability to move at supersonic speeds, accelerated healing, stamina and creation of vortexs, as the powers transfered to Jay turned him into the world's fastest man alive.
After some time being part of this world's new team of wonders and protecting the world with his special abilitties, Jay one day dissapeared, the rumors of his sudden absence reaching from death, kidnapping and retiring, underknowed to all of them that Jay entered a different reality, a Speed Force, where he would be trapped and exiled from his earth.
