my lame attempt at explaining how i do fur...i'm assuming everyone has a pretty good knowledge of PS, cause i didn't include the little screen grabs that show what tools and brushes i'm talking about..
but they're all quite standard, so hopefully everyone can figure it out
EDIT:
here's a little screen grab showing which brushes i was talking about... and yeah, the tool that in reality is called "smudge" I called "smear". same thing :}

if it's your tablet not using it, you may not have the driver installed right/may not have the right driver.
If it's the program, then it depends on which. I know photoshopCS is incredibly annoying in that it makes you turn it on for each individual brush x.x

But I have a little question about the size of the picture. It's noch clear to me, yet. Which size should the total picture have, when I use the brushsize from your screen? Because the wolf on your tutorial is really big and it seems to be right, but wouldn't the total picture pixelize, if I decrease the drawing at the end?

Which brush did you use when you were first coloring it in?

i don't remember but.. it was a fuzzy brush no smaller than 15

I came looking for this to learn from so I faved it. But...right now I am doing colored pencils. Would you have any thoughts for them on this tutorial? Old wolf trying to learn how to draw. Thanks

colored pencils can be adapted to this.. though you'd have to be much more careful with your darks.. not use as much of them. lighter colored pencils don't like layering over the dark ones without smushing and not showing good detail. you will have better luck doing this on a colored paper meant for pastels.. they have more tooth and will hold more layers of color :}

Just a lil question, in the first step, tfor the rough colors, i gotta make a layer for every single color or every one on the same layer?
The layers are on the normal mode all the time?
