This drawing was inspired by my favorite Manga artist, Gensho Sugiyama. I originally wanted it to end up being a Gothic Lollita but then my mind changed as i added the Kitty ears. I had a little trouble deciding the colors. I photocopied about 5 roughdraft lines and colored them in with pencil until i came with this color coordination. After using so much violet i decided to name it Violet. This is my first time using this coloring technique. What i did was pretty much trace over my original drawing with the mouse to make nice smoother lines. It cleaned up a lot of the sketch marks too. I hope to add more that look like this soon.Related content

This is the best of the 5 images in that fourm topic, i think that what you need to do is learn to draw 3Dimensionally, e.g. drawing figures by spheres connected to eachother. The overal proportions and anatomy of the figure above are find, its just that extra dimension. All of the Faces you do are flat as well, so focus on that.

I've been strangely attached to deviations that are purple latelyO_o The flower petals look like grapes...now I am hungry for grapesO_o Her outfit it 'mesmerizingly'(is that even a word) purple tooO_o

Really nice work. Clean lines, sharp colors. The sexy outfit is matched with an equally good backdrop.
My only suggestion would be to remove the 3d element of the background's border. Great work, thanks for sharing.

I would have to say this is the best on e in the lineup that you posted. Very esquisite details and smoothness of line. Alot of detail which is a big thing for me.

Hehe, thanks. The lace was one of the most trickiest parts actually, i'm like, hm...how to color it, or hm...how does lace look like? Haha, i was art-blocked quite a while with this picture. But i'm glad to know you like it. You have nice work yourself.
