I'm absolutely sad about it too. I love these two so much: they're fantastic. I'm hoping they show up in the prequel comics (especially seeing what the nature of Rek'yr and skekMal's relationship was like). Hopefully we'll get more episodes. I hate for it to be canceled without seeing the puppet versions of skekSa and skekLi (and some of the other characters from the book series).

Well don’t worry because the show isn’t cancelled and is in the process of being approved for season two but we do get to see skeksa in the comic
