Time to practice drawing heads a bit in inking style.I usually try to draw the head in slightly off-angle, in one way or another. I also want to try drawing them from uncommon viewing angles.
I forgot to add numbers next to each head, but my favorite is on the bottom right corner above the title. Very alluring angle and expression.

I never noticed that shoulders are that thick before. Even though this wasn’t meant as a tutorial, you helped me out.
And how to do reserve enough room for the hair to come down that low without interfering with the eye level? That always gives me trouble.

Yeah, there is quite a lot of flesh there, especially if the character is fairly chubby.
Just gotta draw the forehead and hairline first and check there is enough space, then fit the bangs in

Both are mere coincidences, I didn't have any specific characters in mind (though middle left looks like my OC Kohana). So it looks you're just crazy

Oh I love these, especially the one on the bottom right where the girl is leaning to her hand, her expression is so calm and it's as she's observing something. All are great though, they really feel different from your usual works which feels weird to me 'cause a part of me thinks that you've already drawn it all :,D

Yeah, somehow I imagine her sitting at some cafe or as a school girl sitting at her desk while calmly observing or listening something. I also like the one in the middle, those eyebrows look fun!
A big difference here is that I could devise personality for each drawing on the fly instead of being limited to specific character behavior. Sayaka and Sachiko are lovely, but their personality dictate their demeanor so much that there isn't much of variability.

I also though she was a school girl. She just has that cool girl at the back of the class feeling to her.
And yes that is indeed so true, it's sadly a bit of a downside at drawing only oc's that you end up setting some limitations to yourself due to their physique and personality but gladly art is a free medium you can always explore more of.
