I guess it is the grays in a black and white silhouette that give it its volume.Just what the title says, the basic family... so taken for graned... so missed by those that did not have it...

it was naturally backlit and I have not messed up the lighting.
It was also naturally duotone as far as I remember.

it was a shoot of many instances that time but this one of the family all together walking away was a strong one...
I am experimenting on silhouettes. They are tough to get right but very rewarding if you can tell a bw story with them...
