Yes, of course all dogs have their very own personality, but most (if not all) of the cockers I've met have been somewhat lacking good personality... I have come to understand that people who buy cockers are not really knowing that they are actually buying a hunting dog with a BIG need for activation of every kind. They see the cute little pup as a pet, nothing more. I'm sure they can be good pets, but I don't think that's enought for a cocker. To be the best dog they can be they need so much more than hugs and kisses.
I hope you meet the saint bernhard pups again and that you have your camera with you
