I'm angry that you used company resources to produce this...

(chuckle) gaz, my only regret is that I can't actually steal the copier when I go.

it's a creepy looking but kind of cool. I never know that a photocopier could do that.

I really like the expression that we can observe just by looking to the eyes. The composition is also very well done. It looks abstract to me.

I had a design prof back in school who insisted that all our pieces should work not only as representations, but as abstract compositions as well, so the fact that it looks abstract to you is actually pretty cool for me!

ooh ooh! I know! We're the illusion!
uh... or, maybe the dreamers! Definitely the dreamers!
Or maybe we're the reality created by the dreamer's illusion?
Ah heck, I dunno.

This ... I ... but ... you ... that's just ... I want ... *speechless*
Ahh right! BRILLIANT! That's what I was getting at! I really must fave this ...
So, while the CCD thing or whatever is cruising along under the glass, did you snap your head really fast or ... well ... how'd you time it just right? Not to rip off your idea, but I really need to try this!
Sincerely,
--Rob

It was really a trial and error process. Once I realized that this was possible, I just kept trying... got four or five that are very similar but not as good as this. The real trick is that the scanner bar is moving left to right, so I had to wait for it to get exactly to my lip before turning. And yeah, I bumped my face on the glass repeatedly trying to get this. Overall, I'd say it was worth it.
I wouldn't consider it a ripoff, man--go to it! part of the beauty of this series is that ANYONE could do this with a little patience and creativity.
And thanks for the fave!!!

That's probably the coolest thing I've ever seen.
The fact that it was done on a photocopier is even better.

I think a lot of that pain has to do with the open eye (which actually does hurt a bit... but not *that* bad).
