Reminds me of gum trees that have been ripped out of the ground during land clearing in Australia. They dot the rural landscape around my home. I call them gargoyles.

the sky need more depth i think the cloud looks a little flat.
add some haze on the horizon could be better for the depth too.
maybe some yellow touch on the typo, ..... maybe ... : )

The render is very you, if there was a style called NullVoiD, this is one of the renders that would define it. Not digging the water, its ok, but I don't really like it. The colors are fantastic though, good job.

The only thing is the water..... add some distance blur, some light fog and some displacement on the water surface and you get a +fav for sure!

I love this machina, it's fantastic. The legs don't quite look like their having any effect on the water. Also, the texture on the machina appears very clean something that is rising from the deep. I would expect just a little bit of crustiness (for want of a better word). On the other side, it's very original and I love it for that. Keep it up and thanks for the link to deepCore, you're right, that stuff is amazing!
