Heh, photoshop is tricky, I won't lie! But if you keep poking around in it, you'll learn more about it as you go.

It's possible, I know SAI works similarly. You can at least try and see if you can have similar results!

When I get a new computer, the current one I have. Has convulsions at the thought. I need to replace everything on it. So I need to start from the ground up and get a new one

Interesting! So that's how you do the line work. I mainly use Inkscape to do my lines but that program that you mentioned I may have to try it sometime! I hope it's not to complicated to use.
