Description
A prototype camouflage I designed. The concept is simple: digital camouflage using hexagons instead of rectangles or squares. Turned out quite nicely. The color palette is called 'Bias Dfb_FT,' intended for use in the heavy woods and open terrain of Europe's hemiboreal climates. The palette was specifically drawn from Romania/Armenia and the surrounding regions. The contrast is boosted for more negative-space goodness. The pattern falls apart on dry terrain.
'Dfb' references the KΓΆppen climate classification system .
Tiles perfectly.

How exactly do you get it to be repeatable? All the camouflage patterns and tutorials I've seen so far all just produce a small camouflaged tile which is pretty much good for nothing, since it's so small.

Lots of trial and error. I set up an action script that automatically created a grid of nine tiles, and then adjusted each layer so that the pattern would tile perfectly and without blatant seams.

I see. I was hoping for a photoshop trick that I don't know of or that hasn't been implemented in PS 7.0. What program did you use?
