Uhhh. I've always had a mild obsession with The Phantom of the Opera, ever since I read a kiddified version of the story when I was in, like, 2nd or 3rd grade ("The Phantom of the Auditorium" from the Goosebumps series), and then got my hands on the full libretto and fell in love. o__O; And I still remember that I always wanted Christine to end up with the Phantom, not that damned Raoul.

And now, the release of the movie version has resparked that obsession. Trust me; any of my friends can affirm the fact. o__o;

SO. I've combined my wolfie anthro charries Blacky and Browny into the roles of the Phantom, Blacky, and Christine, Browny. And this time the Phantom wins. (Take that, Raoul.) >>;; I don't care if the Phantom wasn't female. And even though this was inspired by the movie version, I've drawn Blacky's mask as I originally pictured it, rather than the half-mask portrayed in a lot of the current live tours and the movie.

This is also the third time I've drawn this picture. o_o; The first time was a sketch in my school sketchbook, the second time was redrawing the sketch and doing a miserable job of digitally painting it (no, really, it was BAD), and now this is the last attempt. I refuse to redo this again. x__x;

Done on Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. Clocked at about 5 hours (Yes, that's what I said; 5 friggin hours). Used 32 layers.
