For the embossed pattern on the paper, see the other comments On the leather, I put cutouts in thick paper under the leather.

Love it! It has this old, magical feel to it that would make it fit right in with other Hogwarts books.
The embossed page looks great! How did you do that?

Thanks alot! I took a thicker piece of paper and cut out the pattern/shape, then I lay that on top of the page I wanted to emboss, flipped it over and carefully pushed the paper down into the cutout with a sculpting tool, you can use something like a knitting needle too.

I love the whole thing! I'm particularly in love with the embossed shape on the page. Does that reoccur, throughout?

Glad you like it!
No I made the embossed shape only on the first page. Would have taken forever to do it on all pages xD And also would be harder to write on them

So i went to a leather store and the price for a square foot of leather at most of these places is nearly 7 dollars and they only sell the hides as one full piece. To get the hide I wanted it would have cost me $570.00 American. That's nuts all I needed was like a yard of the stuff.

Yes its crazy stuff But most or some places do sell smaller pieces too. OOOOOR you can find an old leather jacket at a flea market or something like that.

Ja kolla upp det! Mkt trevlig lore.
- Ond Hednisk gud vid namn Hastur.
- Hasturs inkarnation: The King.
- En pjΓ€s i bokform som driver lΓ€sarna galna ("The King in Yellow")
- Samt ett mystiskt gult tecken ("The Yellow Sign")
Allt hΓ€nger ihop med HP Lovecraft.
