I always feel somewhat bad to be leaving the gym right before the boss battle to heal my Pokemons. XD;;But it's only fair to be battling in top shape just as your enemy is, right? D:

It's perfectly fair! The gym leader have pokemons with full health,so, its natural to have refreshed pokemon to beat it,It's like the champion of the elite four, he think he's the best, but he fight pokemons with less attacks and low health.However, there would be no challenge.Good comic!

Haha, yeah, exactly. I mean, I guess in theory, maybe those other trainers are there to weaken you before the final match, but then how can the gym leader say he's your equal or superior if half your Pokemon are already fainted when you reach him...? We can think of it more like the other trainers are there to weed out the weak. Buuut I think I'm thinking about this way too much. Back to the point - I really love your art! It's adorable and the poses/expressions have a nice variety to them.

I am actually surprised that the gym leaders doesn't say anything about this after nearly 15 different versions...Seeing it in 4-koma's still an achievement, I doubt it'll ever happen...dreams go far...
