I always feel somewhat bad to be leaving the gym right before the boss battle to heal my Pokemons. XD;;But it's only fair to be battling in top shape just as your enemy is, right? D:

Well once you thinkg about it, if your not that good and you lose and you go to the pokecenter after and heal them up.

well he has his minions to weaken you before the final battle, so if you want to call healing cheating, then your cheating a cheater, which could..then..is..not cheating? @.e

If it's possible to do it without editing codes (AKA using an action replay) then how is it really cheating? : D I mean, they could always make it so you had to fight the gym leader in the condition you are in, but they don't. They allow you to heal and return.

Also - think about it. If you battle them when your pokemon are weak, you lose, you get sent to the pokemon center. Your pokemon are at full health, and you face them again after your pokemon have healed anyway! <-- good point right there

if my pokemon are really ahead of the gym leaders i usually just chance it and end up winning. but 90% of the time my pokemon are weaker so i has to do what you do... cuz its fair... as stuff..

Ahh i remember this one when i was little child,i beat all 4 bosses and last one i hadn't beat it but went to poke center to healed before face the final boss.

I just keep going, don't use any items on the leader(unless I'm wiping the floor with him) and then I feel more badass if I win, but if i lose, still got XP, can always try again.

this gym was especially easy to do that in! i remember i just stepped off the walkway and let the mysterious purple clouds drift me back to the entrance... the ultimate lazy.
