Haha this one is tucked away, hidden in the corner of this alleyway. The city is really neat, because it has lots of little back alleys with shops and things, like in our China town there are a lot of them. But I find them really endearing, because some of them, like this one, you need to know where they are to get there.

It's like finding a secret item in a video game
We used to have a similar thing with this one park in town. Literally nobody knew it still existed because it was hidden behind an abandoned library and the police station/borough building. It was finally renovated a few years ago and now you can actually see it from the street but before that it was kind of like the town secret and mostly kids from high school hung out there.Β

I actually noticed there is another phone booth out in my area, by a pub. It's funny, I drive by the place almost daily (though sometimes in the dark of night, so that definitely doesn't help my cause), and I had never noticed it was there until recently. Either that, or it never really registered.

Yeah, I know. I donβt see them often, even payphones are really hard to come by. We have one in the ER of the hospital I work in, but otherwise, I donβt think I can recall an area that has payphones...maybe a mall somewhere?

Target took a huge hit in my area because it was apparently hit by hackers and lots of people's credit card info got robbed. Personally I rarely go there but if I do I pay cash

Funny enough, this one guy around town here was counterfeiting small bills ($10 and $5) and using them all over the place, mostly to buy lotto tickets. He was recently caught. But the irony is kind of amusing.

The Victorian comment is spot on though! The city is named after the queen, and we still have a lot of old heritage buildings in the Victorian style.
