I just want to add that you did a great job polishing and cleaning up the original sketch and fixing all the little goofs I made in the initial drawing (mainly, the shape of the cane and Sly's tail).
I especially like how you redrew Bentley and Murray's hands to have more defined, hand-like shapes. I have a bad habit of drawing hands to look like oven mitts when I'm feeling lazy. LOL

Haha, yeah, I actually noticed that the placement of Sly's tail is still kinda goofy earlier today. Oh well. I tried, lol.
I generally do the same with my own sketches actually; nothing except the bigger shapes looks nice and defined until I get to it with a pen or something dark. The oven-mitt style hands are actually really good to base hands on though; I really liked the way you did Bentley's in particular, so I tried to keep that in as much as I could.

The colors look so good! I've never seen my work colored like this before. And I almost can't believe that my messy drawing inspired something this beautiful.
Seeing this makes me wanna try to learn digital coloring again. Because I STILL can't believe that this gorgeous thing came from one of my "bored at work scribbles"!!
Thank you so much for doing this. It really means a lot that you liked the original sketch enough to do this. And seeing something of mine look this STUNNING made me incredibly happy (and helped brighten up a very depressing week).
Would it be OK if I posted this in my DA page (with credit, of course)? I want all my friends (even the ones who aren't Sly Cooper fans) to see this!

Let me just say that I LOVE your style! It's really cool and unique and so are your ideas.
Digital colouring! Yes, good, always a good skill to pick up (though in all honesty I'm much more of a fan of traditional, and in some ways it's easier to really start practicing with). Having a tablet definitely helps things, though. I know I've asked if you had one before, but I don't remember what you said. :/

It's so strange to think of people digging my art style. And to think, I was reluctant to get a DA page at first because I thought my stuff would get lost among all the more talented/well-known artist submissions!
I don't have a tablet yet. But I may be getting one soon. A friend of mine is upgrading hers and said she'd give me her old one once she buys her fancy new model. So I'll have no excuse not to practice it. And I'll be sure to hit you up if I need any pointers on technique and whatnot.

Nothing bad happened to me personally. But an acquaintance of mine lost her infant son to a murderer last week. And I've been trying to spread the word about her family's fundraiser via tumblr (<[link] >)
