I would be SO HAPPY if she were to appear in RWBY Chibi! If I were in charge of writing the RWBY Chibi episodes, I would have Mercury and Emerald meet up with Ilia and then they would go out and play mischievous (and often mean) pranks on other people in Beacon with Ilia using her chameleon-based techniques as an advantage. ( It would make a cute April Fool's Day episode, wouldn't you think so)?

I couldn't agree more. You know who else I think RWBY Chibi Season 3 could use? Some more Grimm species. The chibi versions of Beowolves and Geists have already been introduced so far. If I were to decide which Grimms should be introduced next, I would pick Boarbatusks, Goliaths, Ursa (Roman could build up a circus scam with Goliaths being his circus elephants and Ursas being his circus bears on unicycles, LOL), Lancers, and Beringels.
