This is my entry for a contest by Meerabelle
I drew her ocs Lalan and Charlie sitting on a bench in an old park...according to their descriptions this is a meeting place for them where they relax and do their own things xD Charlie likes to draw and Lalan often smokes, and they hardly talk to each other; So I got the idea to draw this scene, even though it's not very innovative I tried to push myself to draw a whole background and stuff ><. (I don't like how the bench came out personally)
Well, I could'nt exactly draw an 'old park' but I tried ;w;
I put some filters to make it look like a faded memory, and blurred the background for more focus on the characters hahah
I realized that there is a really long time for the deadline (as of now) but still, since I had already done the sketch I just wanted to complete it aughhhh
I hope I win something, but even if I don't it's ok since this painting has given me a lot of experience and learning (with the art program and techniques) so I've only gained
I wan to challenge myself to do more background and characters this year! >w< so maybe I'll join more contests and stuff hahah
