~NeitiCora 's sketch-a-day challengeI know, I know, it's late. There are a couple of reasons for this. First, the project I was working on for sketch #12 turned out to be more... ambitious than I had intended. Hopefully I can finish it up and post it tonight instead. Also, feverish munchkins take up a lot of time and are infinitely more important than my crappy sketches. Yes.
I used posemaniacs on =WraithTen 's recommendation. Initially was going to do more foreshortening, but I was intrigued by the nifty perspective poses, and since perspective is something I very rarely play with, figured it was worth tooling around with. Should probably have done more than one figure, but... didn't. Will do more perspective and foreshortening in the not-so-distant future, though.
I think I made her bum too big...

I know what you're saying about the bum, but It's that whole perspective thing and I stink at it. I *think* it's because it looks too...long. Like maybe if there was a definite *rump* shape after the hips. I'm no help, I stink at humans. But I think it looks really good, you've got a little foreshortening in there too.
Hope the kids are feeling better. Which probably makes them even more crazy because they have to make up for the *sick* time.

I figured it out later, her shoulder nearest to us is too narrow, giving her virtually no upper back and unbalancing the whole shape. Really, I need to set the artwork down and come back to it a couple hours later before I can really see what I've done, which is a habit I probably should get into instead of blindly scanning everything in. 
The kids are better, thanks. Which actually doesn't see me much worse off than before. He gets into more mischief now, but at least he's not whining at me every five seconds.
