I lately have been bitten by a kind of animation bug. I have to say this right here has got to be one of the most complete animations I have done. I realize it is rather well, simple, but, it is my first shadowed animation, not to mention using effects.
Alma's eyes aren't exactly like this, I took a bit of artistic license with it. Really his eyes are more a black void if anything. BUuuuuuUUuuT~ Who said I can't play around with colors every now and again.
Not sure if I will do another one of these anytime soon. But it was fun while it lasted~!

As those before me have said-- I love the coloring, it's so pretty! And the animation is indeed quite smooth. I was wondering, how many frames is it? (Or, more like: how many frames did you have to draw? - I'm wanting to try making some animated gifs in the near-ish future, and a little worried over how many individual sketches that would actually require, lol.)

It was an experimenting on my part, I hadn't attempted a fully colored animation as of yet before this but I rather enjoyed it actually!
it was about 13 frames all together originally started at 9 but i expanded it in order to make it more smooth.
I drew all 13 frames by hand

That coloring is so amazing! and the smoothness of the animation~! I love the sparkles/ shading of his eyes. I can just bet he's surrounded by glowing crystals<3 Love this!

Alma's eyes are usually black but they are reflective so at times when in like yo usaid areas full of glowing crystals well :v; you get the pretty cast off of lights on his eyes
