Story: Naehu was born in the Southern district of Asseton, Moary, another nation that was absorbed by the Empire long ago.
He was raised in a family of brilliant scientists that first home-schooled him before sending him and his sister to Xineren where they were taught by the Imperial Academy. An excellent biologist and physician, Naehu was soon offered to take part in the project that would transform "Le Squale" fav.me/d2igydv into a beast, although the initial project was to make him the first one of a new race of humanoids. He always felt sympathy for the young boy and felt that he just shouldn't be put through all those experiments at such a young age. Thus, Naehu was always kinder to "Le Squale" than his colleagues and would try to allay his anguish the best way he could.
When the Imperial heir went on his first rampage, Naehu was away and was the first to discover the slaughter. He found "Le Squale" prostrated in shock and, one more time, tried to help him out but couldn't prevent the Imperials from arresting and jailing him. Naehu fell into depression after realizing what he and his confederates had created, gained weight that he never lost and cast himself away for some time.
He then decided to make it up by entering the Emperor's fav.me/d2pjq4t army, training harder and taking back on scientific research. During that time, he would often visit "Le Squale", actually the only one who still showed sympathy towards him. This fact got him noticed by the Empress Lyctis fav.me/d2plmgu who appointed him to be her son's official caretaker after she knew what he did for him. Naehu is actually one of the few living people to have seen the Empress's face which made him fall in love with her. As a result, he is actually more loyal to her than to her husband but never said how he felt since both him and Lyctis are beholden to the Emperor. No one knows of his infatuation though.
He is very trusted by both Unai and Veliniffa and usually takes charge if neither of them is around.
Powers: Naehu is not naturally powered and actually incurred his own genetic mutation thanks to his own experiments and what he saw on "Le Squale", by mixing science and magic, a practice that is normally forbidden.
He has developed geomorphic powers and can turn his body to a ruby-hard dark green stone (called Nigerite) which increases his strength tenfold, makes his immune to most conventional injuries and highly resistant to heat and concussive blows. When in Nigerite form, he can shatter the ground with one blow from his hammer or cause a mild earthquake or a landslide.
He is immune to lava and can stand or swim in it without suffering any damage. His powers are greatly enhanced when near a volcano or a magnetic spot. Has limited power over gravity and can increase or decrease it for brief periods of time.
He is a well trained combatant and is actually one of the strongest physically but is quite a lackluster in speed.
Weapons: A war hammer that he can also turn to Nigerite.
Weaknesses and annoying traits:Naehu is weak against gaseous attacks and poisons. He is pretty resistant to acids in his Nigerite form but the most corrosive ones can hurt him if he doesn't wipe them off or rinse them before he turns back to human form.
Since he often used scientific language, his team mates often ask him to express himself in "intelligible language". He always takes the defence of the Empress and is sometimes at odds with Minette fav.me/d2hwyhd because of this.
Naehu is asthmatic and isn't very enduring which is why he generally tries to finish a fight with the least moves possible.
Is rumored to have a "huge one"...
