I like this mind teasing abstract. It isn't quite a 'landscape' but it has that brooding sense of scale.Β Β  The title also caught my eye as I've used it myself for this not wildly dissimilar work . It was also the title of one of a handful of SF novels that were written by Iain Banks as opposed to Iain M. Banks.

But what does it all mean?........I suck at naming a painting, so I usually pick the first thing that comes to mind after I finish a piece.
I used to name them ABST plus a number because I never showed my work publicly until I joined DA.

According to Iain Banks a 'transition' is a personality jump or displacement to a body in a parallel world, facilitated by a drug called septus. Adepts called 'transitioners' on a parallel world called Calbefraque belong to an organisation called 'The Concern', which is like a parallel world hopping version of The Culture's 'Special Circumstances' division.

That it does.Β  Easily on the edges, abruptly in the middle.

But what does it all mean?Β  Your painting, and life.Β

Yes, naming.Β  I have usually waited until I post something,
look at it again then,
and also usually pick the first thing that comes to mind.
