Description
This one came about, after doing one of the eye tutorials here on DA, when I wanted to see how a couple changes might effect the outcome. I'm still unsure about the background elements and the category to put it in.This was done in Photoshop 7.0.

Correction, I did do much but didn't pay enough attention to the specifics lol. I was trying to recreate a simular image but haven't gotten the right result yet. I'll keep trying though.

Heh, I didn't have to do much actually. Maybe I'll post progression for a simular graphic next... if I can even make a (relativly) simular background, that was the only part that took much time.

I like the colors and I think it's interesting to view. I find the ring around the edge flattens the sphere effect to me though. THe background I like, it's very creative!!!!

I'm glad you like the background, it took me a while to make the part that's the furthest back look normal with the "splatter" imediatley behind the "orb". As for the ring on the orb, I agree in part. I like the ring and I like the middle but togather they make it look flatter. With just the ring and some other center I think it would look more spherical, the same with the center and a different outer section...
