I remember seeing the world's biggest/fattest living cat is "Big Orange Thing" of Minnesota, weighing in at 41 lbs.
The world's biggest/fattest cat ever was "Garfield" of Australia, Canberra, I think, who weighed over 48 lbs before he passed away in 1986. (I might be wrong about the date, but I'm too unmotivated to check the Guinness World Records website to be sure)

He is a Maine Coon, and a more even tempered, good natured cat you will never find. The down side is all of that hair. We have to get his butt trimmed from time to time. He does not care for that much.

Oh dear. I have a siamese too, she won't rip anyone to shreds, although she hates the BARBARIAN. From time to time she forgets herself and attacks him to the point of pulling out hair. He is more than double her weight and will lay the smack down on her. It backs her off for a couple of days. Both cats have all their claws.

Maybe they are just unfriendly cats. Mine still has her nails too. . which is not good for company. I would never rremoved them thuogh. she bites them too. grrrrrrrrrrrr. you should get a picture of your kitty sitting on her!

I'd like to, but aside from having to follow them around with a camera pointed at them, would be the fact that when they get into it, all you can see is a blur of fur as it rolls across the floor. Did you ever see the cartoon, Tazmanian Devil?

Not just look. I wish this site could support sound. I'd love to record the sound of a cat fight. After the inital jolt it is an amazing sound. Except that the BARBARIAN doesn't make sound. He is only capable of little squeeks. I am embarrassed for him, to see this huge cat, and all it can do is chirp.

He's about 18 pounds, but his breed (Maine Coon) can easily go 25-30. I know a guy with one that is 35. Fortunately, he is a very easy going, good natured cat.
