Description This was before he became 20:

After seeing many people do their own 9 fan-characters, I decided to do my own. I decided to give his number name a nickname to differentiate himself than just a number alone.

If he had a creator, his would be a woman scientist who stole the professor's plans and designs of his creations who bit more then she chew ending her to die for this creation. Twent was "born" being unfinished leaving him to steal his creators fingers to use as his own, while using what was around him to build what was left on him.

He decided that he was related to the spiders that were around the room he awakened in, which made him stitch the spool on his back.

Days of leaving his "family", he discovered the other sapient dolls like him. He realized the similarities with them and himself, but his thoughts changed as he began the idea that he still wasn't like them and chose that he was the last of the deceased humans.

Twent's texture came from pictures of the 9 action figures from Entertainment Earth's merchandise website.

The loose cotton is supposed to emulate a Mohawk.

Your charcater design is insane (in the good way haha). I love how it reminds me of the steampunk style, so neat. Good use of texture. : D

Apparently, that goes with my cos-playing too(even when I'm not dressed up; it's due to my glasses). It's probably my love for history, that it rubs off my characters.

Thanks, I want to make my characters as original as possible. Though, when I'm nearby people who are creating something, they talk about how they don't want to create a character if it looks too much like a character... With those complaints in mind, I find that if I can just create something that I can redraw for a original series, then it's easy for me to claim it's mine.

Really? That's pretty cool. In the pictures you've drawn of yourself, I got the impression you really liked all sorts of things in the past. : D

Damn, you must have a ton of creativity! Because you do a really good job of creating characters that are really original.

If you look at this entry I wrote, [link] (I'm minespatch), I want to help people understand that creativity comes from not emulating yourself like another character, but to transpose your personality and create something that would make you you claim as your own.

Thanks, it's all in the course of creating stories as well(I'm in the making of five stories as it is).

I completely agree. If I saw the girl's character, just a ragdoll like Sally, I would immediately think of it as a Sally wanna-be and a Mary-Sue.
Perhaps if she had elaborated futher and developed the character to be unique on her first post, I would think otherwise.
Your whole post was wonderful advice. I hope it helped her out a lot.
If more people would understand your point then there would be many less Mary Sues roaming the internet.

Five? Wow. So much to keep track of. Well, seeing as you have excellent wording and lots of creativity to go around, you'll do great. Best of luck in writing them!

Well, I guess my over-usage of stitches are to emphasize that he's a ragdoll. The steampunk is over-stated in the reviews for "9" but yes, I guess it is. Then again, I used to be a actor in the Temecula Gun fighters giving this a old-fashioned feel.

The only reason why I said steampunk is I like the mellow steampunk not the hard core robotic body parts and unrealistic gears coming out everywhere.

Same here, less gizmos and gears makes the environment seem like it has a soul. How does mellow steampunk apply to your work besides the androids? Your character, Annabelle, really reminds me of that girl android Olympia from E.T.A. Hoffman's the Sandman, except Olympia is very quiet and has a father than a mother. Her father is a murderous villain.

Because it's a future where nothing has changed. Mainly because you have the tech to make a robot but you use it for war.

And I've never heard of that but I based anna off the Battle Angel Alita series. Granted I don't like cyborgs but I really liked that anime.

Yeah, including Clockwork Orange, Of Mice and Men, and 1984. What's wrong with those books? Isn't having a opinion important? Same with the Harry Potter books, they have no harm to the imagination.

Twilight is another matter, those books have been causing a lot of hormonal hysteria, and I'm not sure why.
