I truly love this game, and I love the detail and thought that went into it. Really the best in the series visually. I still play it constantly just to see it.

Seeing all of these wrist-mounted weapons make me think of something: How are any of the assassins able to use them? Whenever I see any of the assassin maind characters use one of these wrist-mounted gadgets, I can't really understand how he or she is able to interact with them without using a free hand.

They somewhat explain in the first game that there's a ring with a string attached to the bracer that with certain movements triggers the device. Back in Altier's day, with much more "primitive" designs, the ring finger beyond the first digit was removed to make room for the blade to deploy between the index and pinkie fingers; however, the "mutilated" ring finger still manipulated the pull-string mechanism for the hidden blade to activate.
