For the models that I want to show you today, we will return to the System Defense Force of the planet Thenyke once again.
Yes, there are even two completely new models for this picture: the Qusak'tal and the Plostrasinus-Class freighter.

Like the Me'fa, the Qusak'tal is a ship built by the Bal'athi Shipyards from the planet Thenyke and is also one of the Thenyke-SDF ships.

With a size of 107,6×103,9×30 m, the Qusak'tal belongs to the category of frigates.

The armament consists of:

4x Henricus Octavius Corp. ASSW-1832 Twin Staff Cannon, cal. 125 mm

56x Henricus Octavius Corp. AA-1559 Twin Staff Cannon, cal. 30 mm

The 125 mm ASSW-1832 twin-staff-cannons from Octavius Corp., a weapons manufacturer from the planet Iria, are compared to the competitor product from the planet Kleteku, the 300 mm Es'audil Solutions GAS-2601 D, with which the Kawalsky-Frigates of the USOC are armed, are significantly weaker.

The ASSW-1832 has both a smaller caliber and a lower firing speed than the GAS-2601 D.

However, the installation of the ASSW-1832 weapon system was required to obtain approval for 56x AA-1559 Anti-Aircraft-Staff-Cannons, also from Octavius Corp.

Thenyke is a world of the administrative category C-IV, whose economy is based on the export of the Bal'athi Shipyards, but primarily on the extraction of mineral resources.

Naquadah in particular, which not only occurs on Thenyke, but also the numerous asteroid fields in this solar system are blessed with unusually large Naquadah deposits.

In the asteroid fields, the pirates only used fast, small and maneuverable spacecraft to raid ore freighters and depots and then sell the Naquadah to other criminal organizations on the black market.

The Thenyke-SDF had therefore insisted on such heavy anti-space fighter armament, since the SDF needed a corresponding and powerful AA armament to fight the pirates.

The entire design of the Qusak'tal focuses on the fight against pirates in space fighters in an asteroid field. This also explains why the Qusak'tal frigates, unlike the Me'fa or the larger Mequ’sakmoc and Tel’sakmoc destroyer, did not become an export success for the Bal'athi Shipyards.

Other worlds of the IUSP also have a pirate problem.

But, in no other area of the IUSP do the pirate groups rely so much on space fighters.

Most pirates in the Milky Way use merchant ships that have been massively rebuilt and are therefore partially armed with the heaviest weapon systems.

In the picture above you can see a joint operation of the Thenyke-SDF and the 1106th SOC.

The Thenyke office of the Intergalactic Security Agency (ISA), the federal law enforcement agency, was informed by its informants that one of the criminal organizations could steal weapon-quality Naquadah that is now being smuggled from the planet.

Hence, the Thenyke-SDF and 1106.SOC jointly control the departing spaceships to find the stolen Naquadah.

Here you can see how two Qusak'tal and a Squadron B-305 B/h are checking a Plostrasinus-Class freighter.

Plostrasinus-Class freighters are the standard cargo ships of the Covenant of the Liberated Celestis.

They are 476,5×329,2×43,3 m in size and equipped with the same 93.9 meter diameter energy core as the Circuitus-Class cruisers from the LGF. Plostrasinus can transport up to 10 Class-2-STCs in their primary rear cargo hold, in addition there are two smaller cargo holds in the bow section, each of which can hold up to 80 Class-1-STCs.
